Hamilton City Nutrition & Physical Activity Training

This parent class provided many with the necessary tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle and family. At the last meeting, the participants all made a healthy dish and shared it with everyone in the class. For more click here.

Orland's Working On Wellness Success!

Orland High School finished their 6-week Working On Wellness program with increased awareness and a healthy banana split party. The program included a friendly student and staff competition for “healthy” points and mini-nutrition education lessons. For the full ChicoER article click here.

The Network seeks to increase California’s consumption of fruits and vegetables to the recommended amount and increase daily physical activity to at least 30 minutes for adults and 60 minutes for children.

This material was funded by USDA's Food Stamp Program through the California Department of Public Health's Network for a Healthy California.
